Top 10 Must-See Attractions at Disneyland Paris

This might just be the most easiest blog ever???

So just exactly what are the 10 best rides in Disneyland Paris? Well it feels criminal to narrow it down but here are the 10 rides you CANNOT miss.

1. Big Thunder Mountain

   

   
   

   Starting off strong with this beauty (no beast).

   This is hands down one of the BEST rides in the park. Located in Fronteirland, situated on an island in the middle of the Rivers Of The Far West. Not to mention this is the only version that goes through underwater tunnels, not once but twice. The theming and vibrant colours of this Rusty Railroad attraction give you that ultimate feeling of the American Wild West. It's fast, fun and honestly not that scary. Even if you're not a massive rollercoaster fan, I think you'll love this!

   A MUST in my opinion.

2. Pirates Of The Caribbean

   

Such a classic. It's just one of those rides you have to do every trip. It's calm and so detailed and probably one of the most immersive rides in the whole park. Once you get into the little boat, you drift through pirate scenes, caves and full on battles, just like the film. Look out for Captain Jack, I mean you will probably hear him before you see him.

Fun fact: The ride actually came out before the movies - and then inspired the whole film series!

3. Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast

   

Buzz's Blast is SO fun, especially if you're a bit competitive!

Hop aboard your little spaceship and blast targets with your laser to score as many points a possible. Slow paced & fun for all ages. A colourful, whacky, exciting adventure through the galaxy to infinity and beyond!

Quick tip: Look for targets that aren't obvious, these are the ones with the highest points!

4. Phantom Manor

   

Phantom Manor is my son's favourite attraction. He first rode it when he was 2 and it is the first thing he looks to go on when we enter the gates of the Mouse House. The amount of detail instilled in this attraction is unbelievable. It has that cool eerie vibe - think haunted house but Disney Style. It's not jump-scare scary, more like a spooky story you ride through. Cool and catchy tunes provided during it which is always a bonus.

5. It's A Small World

   

Can you even say you have been to Disneyland if you haven't rode It's A Small World?

But seriously, it is suchhhh a classic. Slow, colourful and honestly quite relaxing, especially if you have been on your feet all day. Floating from scene to scene from around the world(s) with all the singing dolls. It's definitely not a thrill ride, but perfect for everyone, especially young children who aren't quite able to experience the rollercoasters just yet. A little calm in the middle of the magic, if you will.

If you say the song isn't stuck in your head for the rest of your trip, then you have unbelievable self control. I'm singing it as I'm typing, I mean It's A Small World After All!

6. Peter Pan's Flight

   

This ride is pure Disney magic. Hopping into a little flying ship, gliding over London and Neverland, utter magic. The atmosphere is what makes it so special. The animatronics are unbelievable and every scene is just like the movie which brings nostalgia right into your lap. It is one of the most popular rides in every Disney Park, which is why the queues can be long but completely worth the wait.

7. Ratatouille

   

   
   

Oh what an experience. You shrink down to the size Mr Remy and go through a fast paced frantic run of Gusteau's Kitchen. So chaotic but the cobbled streets and pastel buildings giving you that dreamy 'Little Paris' atmosphere. Nothing too intense which makes it perfect for families and younger guests.

8. Crush's Coaster

Had to think why I don't have a photo of this absolute GEM of an attraction but then i remembered between the long queue, the fast loading and the excitement, i totally forgot. Once you're on the ride, there is absolutely no chance to take a photo between the spins and twists of the EAC mannnn!! Do not mistaken this for a relaxing ride, this is probably up there with the most thrilling and chaotic attractions in Disneyland Paris.

9. Tower Of Terror

On the subject of thrills.. The Tower Of Terror is one of Disneyland Paris' iconic attractions. It looks calm at first... well maybe not but looking at it you couldn't imagine the experience until you literally experience it . Obviously an attraction that size is that size for a reason. You enter into this creepy hotel and enter a lift which drops you at the most insane moments and heights.

Fun Fact: The drops are totally randomised every time so you never have the same ride twice!

10. The Sleeping Beauty Castle

The Sleeping Beauty Castle is the heart of Disneyland Paris. I think it's so self explanatory to people to visit this beautiful monument but the attention of detail inside this castle is breath taking. This stunning structure is not only a visual masterpiece but also a symbol of the park itself. Perfect for photo opportunities and you cannot help but stare every time you walk past. Even though it's a walk through attraction, it really strikes that inner child part of your heart and warms up that Disney buzz. I would strongly advise you to visit under the castle, there's quite a surprise waiting down there.

Hopefully this helps you figure out which attractions to prioritise first - because getting on everything in one day is probably the only time you can use the word impossible at Disney.
