Meeting Characters at DLP

Meeting Disney characters is honestly one of the BEST parts of Disneyland Paris, but it can also be really confusing and overwhelming. Characters move locations, appearances rotate and some meet&greets now use a Virtual Queuing system through the Disneyland Paris app.
The characters listed below are NOT Virtual Queueing options, they are just standard queuing meets!
Important: Character appearances, locations, times and queuing can change at any time - even during your trip. Always check the official Disneyland Paris App before and throughout your day for the latest information, queue availability and surprise appearances. Weather, seasons, special events and crowd levels can affect where characters appear!
Ok so now we've done the whole 'don't blame me if' part, let's get straight into it!
Character meets in Disneyland Park (one with the castle) as of May 2026
Aladdin Character (usually Genie/Jafar)
Lion King Character (usually Timon/Rafiki)
Timings: Generally takes place in late afternoon often around 2.30pm to 4.45pm
Location - Adventureland. Up the hill beside Colonel Haiti's Outpost Restauraunt
Ratings: Timon 10/10 | Rafiki 9/10 (I always find it hard to make convo with this dude, he's super friendly though!)
Princess Belle
Timings: Generally starts sessions around 11.15am to late evening.
Location - Fantasyland. The Old Mill. Its left of small world if you're standing facing it
Ratings: 9/10. I haven't met her at this location, but previous meetings at Princess Pavillion have been immaculate.
Chewbacca
Timings: Generally takes place in the afternoon often around 1.50pm to 3.30pm but the timings are known to change daily
Location - Discoveryland. Standing at Starport. Behind Space Mountain and to the right of Star Tours
Ratings: Can't lie, I haven't met him but I can imagine for StarWars Fan, this is a pretty big deal.
Goofy
Timings: Generally takes place in the morning starting around 10am and continuing until late evening 4pm-ish
Location - Frontierland - right outside Cowboy Cookout (restaurant)
Ratings: 11/10. He is so interactive and very funny.
Max
Timings: Generally takes place in the morning from about 9.30 and straight through to late afternoon 4pm.
Location - Main Street USA. Boarding House. Before you walk down Main Street, look over to the left.
Ratings: 9/10. Fun and interactive.
Pluto
Timings: Generally takes place in the afternoon often around 1pm to 4pm
Location - Main Street USA. Casey's Corner (Cafe) on the left as you stroll down Main Street
Ratings: 10/10. So silly and fun. Always ends in a funny photo!
Mysterious Meeting
Timings: Generally takes place in the morning between 10am and 3.30pm
Location - Frontierland. To the left of Phantom Manor walk way.
Ratings: 10/10. It's usually Mickey Mouse so instead of waiting hours to meet him in his other location in Fantasyland, try this. He'll be dressed in his spooky attire but the meeting is none the less. Great shout!
Meet Minnie or Friends
Timings: Generally takes place in the morning between 10am and 3.30pm
Location - Discoveryland. Videopolis Theatre. To the left of Cafe Hyperion, behind space mountain.
Ratings: 10/10. It's either Minnie, Daisy or Clarabelle Cow!
Character meets in Adventure World (one with Crush Coaster) as of May 2026
Toy Story Character (usually Woody/Jessie)
Timings: Generally takes place in the morning from 10.30am to 4pm
Location - Worlds of Pixar. To the left of Crush's Coaster.
Ratings: 10/10. Met both of them and they are amazing. Woody loves to talk about Buzz!!
Mickey Mouse
Timings: Generally takes place in the morning from 10am to 3.30pm
Location - Adventure Way. Directly across from La Terrasse Panoramique (restaurant)
Ratings: 10/10. Haven't met Mickey at this specific location but any other encounter at a different location has been amazing!
